A challenge to our competitors and to our potential new customers that are confused by all of the copycat and inferior
simulants on the market today. Our thousands of current customers know firsthand that Russian Star® for durability, color,
variety of shapes and rainbow diamond colors, other gemstones, warranty and price is the best diamond simulant in the
world today, period. All lab created diamond simulants are in the same category, simulants. It then boils down to price,
customer warranty, availability of the diamond colors, large carat weights and the fine custom jewelry only available by
Russian Star®, simply the best there is!
If any competitor can prove that their diamond simulant and this includes the very expensive moissanite, under independent
laboratory conditions and testing is better than trademarked Russian Star®, we will pay $10,000.00 to be paid by our corporate
legal counsel. The criteria for the testing are as follows and each will need to be independently proven false against Russian
Star® and any other simulant on the market today:
- PRICE-(we are direct cutters and manufacturers and therefore pass savings directly onto our clients. Don't be misled
by the Mercedes-Benz versus VW claims on price). Russian Star® is not the least expensive or the most expensive, but our
policy is to price fairly. Granted, a seller claiming to be selling a true Russian formula diamond simulant for $75 a carat
(on the big auction site) is pure fraud. On the other end, we just do not understand pricing near $500.00 a carat for any
diamond simulant. WHY?
- WARRANTY-for life, we replace the Russian Star® forever if it should ever fade, chip, break, a stone falls out we replace,
or is perceived by the original owner to change color. None of our competitors offer such a warranty so this will knock them
out of competition unless they change and rewrite their warranty. Russian Star® has the toughest warranty.
- COLOR-All of our Russian Star® gemstones are colorless unless special color requests are made. No other competitor can
offer the same variety of "diamond colors and pricing" than we do. Most are in stock, in all sizes. Moissanite simply is not
available in colorless so they are going to have a hard time beating Russian Star® in this category in any independent testing.
Moissanite is available only in very light tint or a dark green version.
- HARDNESS-All diamond simulants are 8.5-9.0 on the most commonly used hardness scale, Mohs. Yes, yes, contrary to marketing
claims, moissanite, or simple silicon carbide is between 8.5-9.0 mohs, the same as Russian Star®. Actually, Russian Star® may
be slightly tougher, as it does not chip or break like moissanite. Anyone willing and able to prove independently to the
contrary? Bring it on!
- CUTS-We have the largest inventory of cuts and in different diamond colors in Russian Star® anywhere in the world today.
We have the new Ariel cut which is exclusive to Russian Star®. Moissanite is very limited to cut and size. The other seller
sites are very limited to cut and sizes. We can cut Russian Star® up to 30 carats and in a multitude of diamond colors and
other gemstone colors. We do sell moissanite at competitive pricing.
- DURABILITY AND TOUGHNESS-Russian Star® is so tough, rarely has one been returned and replaced by the customer under normal
wear conditions for breaking or chipping. We have experienced the opposite with moissanite. It's just true. You, the customer,
are never charged for a replacement gemstone.
- HAND CUT-Russian Star® is hand cut and hand polished and exactly the same base formula as ASHA and Russian Brilliants and
all the others combined. WHY PAY MUCH MORE FOR THE EXACT SAME SIMULANT?
- CUTS GLASS-Russian Star® will cut and scratch glass although not advised as you could also damage a diamond by this test.
- HEARTS & ARROW/TOLKOWSKI CUT-Russian Star® is ideal cut to such tight tolerances similar to the Tolkowski cuts in the round
brilliant. The only difference is that our competitors charge hundreds more per carat. WHY? DON'T PAY IT. You don't need to.
- TESTING-With the new diamond testers, only the diamond will test positive. Positively much more expensive and you get no
better visual satisfaction than with the Russian Star®, hands down.
- OUR WEBSITE CHART-Russian Star® and some of our better known competitors are accurately reflected and represented on this
chart posted on our website. Some of our worst critics did not get your sale and sell diamonds. We chose not to be in conflict diamond
business unless you want us to look for a diamond for you and then will be certified conflict free.
Again, the challenge if any competitor can prove all 11 of the above combined claims to be independently not true, we will pay $10,000.00 to
anyone. Our prospective customers should now feel confident and 100% protected. Russian Star®, simply the best there is!
